Abstract

During the spring 1917 I had the opportunity of carrying out investigations on the occurrence etc. of the pelagic fish eggs and larvae on the Norwegian Skagerack coast. Originally my chief intention was to study cod fry especially, but several things made me alter the scheme of the investigations, I wanted to give an account on the pelagic fish eggs & larvae on the whole before dealing with the special question of the cod fry.
