dc.description.abstract | Fresh samples of different organs from tuna fish (Thunnus thynnus) were collected during the summer 1952. The samples represented 100 -150 fishes and were minced and stored at -15° C during the investigation. Niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and vitamin B 12 were determined by microbiological assays, and thiamine and vitamin A by physicalchemical methods. The results are summarized in Tables 1-8, which have English subtitles. The liver showed extremely high values for vitamin B12, further high values for riboflavine. Meat from tuna fish is a very good source of all the vitamins investigated. | no_NO |
